A Death Doula (also called an End-of-Life Doula, Death Coach, or other similar titles) is a non-medical companion who can provide education and support to an individual and their loved ones before, through, and following a death. Services are tailored to each individual and vary from Doula to Doula depending on specializations and other credentials.
For more detail, I recommend visiting INELDA.org.

Nope! It’s never too early to plan ahead or just talk about big existential topics. Death can seem scary and taboo, especially when you feel like you don’t have anyone in your life who wants to talk about it. I am here to be a sounding board and a fellow explorer.

I completed my training with INELDA (the International End-of-LIfe Doula Association) in 2019.
Since then, I have provided hundreds of hours of volunteer support through hospices in Austin, both companioning people who are dying and providing support to people who are grieving the loss of loved ones.
In addition to that experience, I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, both of which I use to inform my approach to end-of-life support.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation so we can feel out what it might be to work together. You can send me a message through the contact form on my website to receive a booking link so we can find a time that works for your schedule and arrange a video call via Zoom.

I use a sliding scale to adjust my fees to each client’s capacity. I believe that money should not decide whether or not someone can have support. Clients who can choose to pay more help to offset fees for clients who can’t.
Most services are billed at an hourly rate. For time-limited services (completing paperwork, plans, or short-term projects) separate from hourly services, package rates may apply.
Personalized pricing can be discussed during consultation or before signing a service agreement. An online equity pricing is guide coming soon.
